Blegoo

* Tony and his crew had a travel schedule (posted somewhere above) established by both parts (I suppose).
* Romanian travel authorities are paranoid about the country image and wanted to show the best places around to entice American (and other) tourists to visit the place.
* Tony’s philosophy for “No Reservations” is to show some unusual or authentic things he finds on a trip – thus the big conflict with the Romanian part that had their own agenda of “upscale” places.
* He is not allowed to film whatever he pleases (e.g. the mici scene) and gets pissed off because he feels he has no input to the scene/food.
* He probably films some better places but chooses to show a funny story around Dracula-cemetery-primitive food and play it funny.
* Romanians hoping for a positive image as emergent Eastern European country where you can finally discover food/people are disappointed and offended (?), but the show is funny and hilarious to the American viewer
* The Romanian Tourism authorities pay for Tony’s visit $20000 and miss again the opportunity to show the world a balanced view of where the country is at this point in time.
